I’m Jennifer Wideman, and yes–I love Jesus and owe that I am and will be to His amazing grace.
John 10:10 says
- “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
Home business is not always easy, but nothing worth having in life comes easily. However, with the right skills, the right system, the right people guiding & teaching you … and ultimately having God as our primary business partner …
Success in the form of financial reward is absolutely possible.
I once heard one of my mentor’s say,
“To earn more, you must become more.”
That’s the beautiful part. Becoming the person others want to do business with means becoming a leader and someone who emulates the love and character of Jesus. This is something dedicated Christian believers aspire to anyway. Now we have an opportunity to mentor others and earn a living at the same time.
Should Christians even be in Home Business?
I’ve been asked by many Christians from all over the world if it is somehow wrong to be in business for yourself.
We are all required to “work to eat” as it says in Proverbs. The way work is done and the reward received varies from person to person. If you are an employee, the owner of that business is certainly not in the wrong for providing people with the opportunity to work, selling products and services, and reaping the financial benefit from a job well done.
Owning a successful home business allows people to have more freedom. These freedoms allow us to have income for a comfortable lifestyle, but also the money available to give to one’s local church, missions, and on and on.
Anyone with desire and a willingness to learn can absolutely do well in home business
